SENIOR CITIZEN LAND (Care for the elderly )
In a number of fields action is required to protect the uncared elderly persons. Their rights are violated. Many suffer from physical neglect and lack adequate food, shelter and health. The organization takes up the responsibility to involve in their and to find out proper solutions in protecting them.

REHABILITATION OF MENTAL PATIENTS AND MENTALLY RETARDED(,CARE FOR THE DISABLED)
The rights for the disabled are in many cases violated. The employment assured by the Government id denied in number of cases. The disabled children are not brought into the educational main stream. The mentally ill and retarded are not protected. The condition of mental hospitals are far from satisfactory. They are overcrowded and lack even basic amenities. The organization takes up as its responsibility to fight for their rights. Arrange boarding and lodging facilities for mentally challenged and disturbed Children and adult.

The resolution passed by the United Nations General Assembly in 1989 promises children the right to life, liberty, education, and protection from discrimination torture, cruelty, inhuman treatment and punishment. Children are frequently defenseless, many are homeless and are subjected to abuse by police and others. The organization is determined to fight against abuse and exploitation of children and to protect and nature them. They are to be sheltered fed and educated.

HELPING THE RURAL POOR
Their rights to live is threatened by disease, malnutrition and the plain lack of basics to sustain life. Across all these groups of rural poor, the plight of women is by far the worst. They remain the victims of gender discrimination as its worst.

PROTECTING WOMEN’S RIGHTS
The rights of women to a life with dignity is being denied to many sexual abuse, rape, wife battering, forced prostitution etc. Violence against women is widespread. To protect their right is the responsibility of every citizen. There are elaborate systems of laws to protect the rights of women namely Equal Remuneration Act, the prevention of Immoral Traffic Act, Dowry Prevention Act, etc. The Government is often unable to enforce these acts. The organization is to fight for their human rights and is to take step in the implementation of the above acts.

MEDICAL FIELD
Ayurvedic Centre,: General Massage, Pizichil, Navarakizhi, Dhara, Elakizhi,(Patraswedam), Vamanam, Virechanam,(Purgation), Nasyam, Vasthi, Rakkamoksha, Diet etc
General Massage: (Abhyanga) The person undergoing massage is made to sit on the Droni(a wooden bed specially made for the massage.) Two masseurs stand on either side of the person, and apply herbal oil on the head and massage gently. This massaging is continued on the neck ears, shoulders, chest, and back. After this the person is made to lie on the back and the massage is continued from shoulder to toe, shifting the person on his right side and left side, on his stomach and again made to lie down on his back, finally in the sitting position. General Massage (Abhyanga) has been found very effective for vigor and vitality, cure of rheumatism, good eye sight, longevity, sound sleep glowing skin etc. These massages also act as preventive medicine , rejuvenating the body and maintaining the physique.
Pizichil,: This is one of the special massage for rejuvenating the whole body. The prescribed oil is applied on the head. The whole body is smeared with the medicated oil. In this treatment the patient is made to lie on a woden Droni. Then pieces of linen dipped in warm medicated oil is squeezed over on to the patient’s body, massaging the body with the hand all the time. The massage is very slow and tight without exerting much pressure. This massage will protect you from illnesses and build up your immunity for a healthy life. It is also good for treating rheumatic diseases, blood pressure, pain in the joints and diabetes.
Navarakizhi, Navarakizhui deals with giving massage to the body with small linen bags filled with cooked Navara rice after liberal application of medicated oil over the whole body. The rice is cooked in cow;s milk mixed with certain herbal decoction. These bags are dipped in the same mixture and applied over the whole body of the patient. The bags are neither to be too hot nor cold. After wiping the body with a dry towel, the medicated oil is again applied. The course is for 14 days to 21 days. It is one of the most excellent form to treatments to impart luster to the skin and nourish the body through the skin. It also cures various ailments.
Dhara,: After a liberal application of the medicated oil on the head and body the patient is made to lie supine on wooden bed his neck and head placed in a comfortable position. A nonstop, continuous stream of the medicine ()medicated oil, herbal decoction milk or other materials. ) is dropped gently on the forehead from a particular height through a specially made apparatus. After the treatment the head is fully dried with towel and again oil is applied to the head. This treatment is also done for the whole body and for a particular part of the body depending on the ailment. It rejuvenates and revitalizes the human mind and body and diminishes the effect of aging. Dhara is also a wonderful treatment for stress and strain.
Elakizhi,(Patraswedam),: Herbal poultices (bundles) are prepared with various herbs and medicated powder. These poultices are warmed in medicated oils and the whole body is massaged with the same on the neck, shoulders hands and back shifting the person from side to side.
This massage can promote better circulation within the affected area thereby promoting the increased perspiration which help the skin to eliminate wastes. It also help to improve the skin tone and can be superbly relaxing.
Vamanam,: Emesis therapy is administrated in diseases in which kapha is aggravated. It’s the perfect therapy when there is congestion in the lungs causing repeated attacks of bronchitis, cough, and cold and also in chronic skin diseases like psoriasis. This process requires good attention and skilled assistance. Pregnant ladies children the elderly people who are extremely skinny or have heart problem cannot be given this therapy. Virechanam,(Purgation),:Though this form of treatment is largely for aggravated pitha, it can also be administered in certain conditions of vatha. It is very effective in chronic constipation, piles, jaundice, chronic fever, spleen troubles etc. After having the purvarams according to the ailments and strength of the patient medicated laxative is given. This eliminates the toxic or waste matters from the intestine. If no loose motion is acquired hot water has to be consumed and the stomach should be treated with a slight steam A light feeling in the chestand clear passage of stool are the symptoms of perfect virechana.
Nasyam,; Nastam is a therapy mainly performed for ailments abovethe neck. The treatment is carried out maximum for seven days except in some particular conditions. Nasyam cannot be administered after consuming water, alcohol oily food or while a person is having cough and breathing troubles. After massaging the whole body and giving formentation to the head, the person is made to lay on his back keeping head slightly down. Lukewarm medicated oil is poured in each nostril. While administering the medicine one nostril another must be closed with the help of the thumb. After giving nasya the patient has to be massaged in the feet , shoulder neck hands ears and nostrils. Spit the sputum and lay down for sometime.
Vasthi,: This is an important treatment in panchkarma. Niruha or Kashaya Vasthi is for combating vata. Vata is dominant in the colon region and an imbalance could lead to problems of the same. Vasthi involves the introduction of herbal concoction into the rectums. It relieves constipation kidney stones, backaches sciatica and all types of joint pains.
Anuvaasan: This therapy is enema with oil. A word of caution This is not given to patients suffering from diabetes anemia and obesity. Anuvasan is performed on all vatha aggravated diseases like joint disorders, paralysis, constipation arthritis urinary and reproductive disorder.
Rakkamoksha,:This is a traditional method to remove impure blood from the body. This is mainly used in cases of some chronic ski ailments such as eczema leprosy leukoderma scabies chronic itching . Also in some cases of arthritis headache and mental problems. The impure blood is removed from namely by cutting of the vein, by chipping the affected part and taping . This relieves the tension created by the pitta toxins in the blood. Bloodletting also simulates the spleen to produce anti-toxic substances that help to stimulate the immune system .
Diet : Diet is very important during and after panchakarma. Plenty of rest is recommended during Panchkarma and one should avoid strenuous exercise sexual activity and other stimulating experience.After the purification process diet d should be a mono diet in small quantity . This should be strictly maintained for three to four days while slowly increaser the quantity of intake with other items like ginger, pepper, salt green gram sour and pulse soups. The reason for this diet is that durir the cleansing process, the digestive fire takes rest and the power of digestion is slowed. This diet will provide adequate nourishment and is very easy to digest and nourishes all the tissues of the body de-aging of the cells and assist in the detoxification and cleansing process. Panchakarma is a very special Ayurvedic process and requires highly trained and skillful ayurvedic physician. But having said that de-toxification the Ayurvedic way is the best way to beat winter excess and remain healthy.
